Francesca Stern

Francesca graduated from Imperial with a first degrees in Chemistry followed by a MSc in Science of Materials.    Initial experiences included working for  ITT as a materials engineer and then STC and CMAC working on quartz crystal plasma etching processes.   During a four year turn in the US she worked for a patent attorney gaining experience in the field of US patents. 

Returning to the UK, Francesca joined BPA in 2000.  In the past ten years she has been directly involved in the research, strategic analyis, forecasting and presentation of reports and workshops on a wide variety of topics ecompassing the electronics and particularly the PCB industry:  phototools, laminates, masslam, microvia, flexible and rigid-flex circuits, high speed systems and substrates, thick copper, thin copper, advanced semiconductor packaging, opto-PCBs and optoelectronic packaging plus a myriad of others.
