ICT ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM

This year it will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum at the NCC, Birmingham on the 6th June.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS _ Sue and Andy Critcher

10:00 - 10:10 Opening remarks – ICT Technical Director, Bill Wilkie

10:10 – 11:00 - Sue and Andy Critcher, of Total Board Solutions will review the latest design requirements for board fabricators

COMFORT BREAK – 15 minutes

11:15 – 12:00 Neil Chamberlain from Polar Instruments will attempt to engage the delegates in a discussion of Industry Needs versus Polar’s present Tool kit.

LUNCH – magnificent Buffet + A tabletop display including a tabletop from Loughborough University (printed, textile & wearable electronics.) Also a 3D printed stab proof armour project with integrated electronics that Dr Darren Southee has been working on with the Design community).

 

13:15 – 14:00 Dr Sam McMaster will look at Pillarhouse’s Selective soldering training academy and review their challenge PCB board.

.14:00 - 15:00 - Professor Martin Goosey will describe a process involving 'Gallium recovery from LEDs'

14:30 – 15:00 – Dr Darren Cadman - 'The Compound Semiconductor Catapult and its PCB embedded die packaging work.'
